MPSI provides education and training in child development and family research for graduate students. We sponsor graduate internships, research assistant positions and postdoctoral fellowships, throughout the year.

Wayne State students earning an M.S.W. or Ph.D. in Social Work, a Ph.D. in Developmental or Clinical Psychology, or a Ph.D. or D.N.P. in Nursing can earn a Dual-Title Degree in Infant Mental Health, to prepare them to work with and study very young children and their families.
