Sadaf Salehi

Biography

 

Sadaf is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorder since 2022, and a clinical Speech pathologist since 2019

Sadaf completed her bachelor's and master's degrees at Iran University of Medical Sciences. She has worked with children with various disabilities and their families for three years as a Speech Pathologist. At present, she collaborates with Dr. Derek Daniels in the Stuttering Lab at Wayne State University's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Her research focuses on the psychosocial aspects of stuttering, parental experiences of having a child who stutters, and the role of family in their child's psychosocial health.
