Owen Fleming
Biography
Owen is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics at Wayne State University. His research primarily focuses on the determinants of childhood preventive healthcare utilization. In particular, he studies why children fall behind on the recommended preventive care schedules, as well as the role of health policy in addressing these gaps. Owen is also interested in the economics of the healthcare workforce, especially as it pertains to the role of non-physician practitioners in the delivery of healthcare to children.
