Anna Rushing

Biography

 Anna is a 5th year developmental science doctoral student working with Dr. Marjorie Beeghly. She is part of the DYAD lab run by Dr. Trentacosta. She obtained her MA in Psychology from Wayne State in 2021 and her BA in Psychology from Valparaiso University in 2018. Anna's research interests include self and emotion regulation development during childhood, particularly observed in the context of the family system. 

Research Focus

 Self regulation development (emotion regulation, delay of gratification, executive functioning),relationships between family members, family systems and family environment
