Mirako Hickman
Biography
Mirako Hickman is a 2nd year doctoral student in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders focusing on speech-language pathology. She completed her master's degree at Howard University, where she developed a strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and childhood language development.
Clinically, Mirako enjoys focusing on articulation and dialect use, bringing a personalized approach to each client she works with. In her free time, she loves to cook, hike, and volunteer at her church.
