Biography

Marina is earning her Master of Social Work with a Dual-Title Degree in Infant Mental Health. She is currently interning at Family & Community Services, Inc., an agency that works with clients going through adoption, foster care, and/or licensing programs throughout Michigan and Ohio. Prior to that, she interned with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in the Child Abuse Unit, which is what drew her to the field of Infant Mental Health and Social Work. Marina has a passion for childhood development, a commitment to relationships, and strives to advocate for vulnerable populations within her community. After graduation, she hopes to work as ab infant mental health clinician and advocate for children within the Michigan court systems to ensure that their voices are heard.
