Biography
Katelin is earning her Master of Social Work with a Dual-Title Degree in Infant Mental Health and is interning at Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority. She previously interned at Morrish Elementary School and ran a soup kitchen in Flint for the past three years. She was intrigued by the field of infant mental health after taking a lifespan course and learning about the development of infants and the complexities that come with being a caregiver. After graduation, she plans to work as an infant mental health clinician or school social worker. Outside of school and work she is an accomplished independent filmmaker and actress, receiving nominations for her work as a screenwriter for her second feature film "Stay" in 2019 by the Detroit Filmmakers Awards and showcasing her work in a variety of festivals, such as Detroit's Trinity International Film Festival, Boxfest Detroit 2020, the 48 Hour Film Festival, and more.
