Tuition and Fees

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $75. Before a child can attend the ECC, the full admissions process must be completed. There is no discount for WSU students or employees.

Child care services will be discontinued for the following reasons:

• Accounts in arrears for 14 days.
• Failure to obtain DHS authorization within 30 days of signing this contract (if applicable)

Late Fees

MPSI ECC operates from 8:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children must be picked up at the contracted time. A Late Pick-Up fee of $5.00 for every 10 minutes will be charged after the contracted time (no grace period.) Late fees are expected to be paid on the date of the occurrence of the late pick-up. Students with outstanding late fees will not be allowed to return to the Earlyl Childhood Center until the fee is paid.

Tuition Assistance

The Campus Childcare Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Grant is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and provides WSU Pell Grant eligible undergraduate students up to a 100% reduction on tuition for their preschool aged children at the Early Childhood Centers.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) provides free preschool for eligible children who are 4 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year. The GSRP program is funded by the Michigan Department of Education and is intended for children who may be at risk for educational challenges. A series of risk factors determines eligibility.
