Dr. Jessi Beatty is a Research Scientist at the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute.
Dr. Beatty received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in 2009. Her research focuses on how technology can help promote behavioral health changes in pregnant women and new parents. Dr. Beatty is currently the Project Coordinator for several NIH and CDC funded studies. More specifically her research focuses on using brief interventions to decrease perinatal substance use and exploring new ways of measuring parent-child interactions.
