Dr. Jessica Beatty is a Research Assoiciate at the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences.
Dr. Beatty received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in 2009. Her primary research interests focus on the impact of substance abuse on families. Dr. Beatty is currently the Project Coordinator for several NIDA and CDC funded studies. More specifically her research focuses on using brief interventions to decrease perinatal substance abuse to impact birth outcomes and exploring new ways of measuring parent-child interactions.
