Dr. Jessica Beatty is a Research Scientist at the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute.
Dr. Beatty received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in 2009. Her primary research interests focus on the impact of substance abuse on families and how technology can help promote behavioral health changes. Dr. Beatty is currently the Project Coordinator for several NIH and CDC funded studies. More specifically her research focuses on using brief interventions to decrease perinatal substance abuse to impact birth outcomes and exploring new ways of measuring parent-child interactions.
