Giant Step brings teenagers together from diverse backgrounds to discover all the issues they have in common. Since our first conference 30 years ago, thousands of students from hundreds of school have come together to improve attitudes, open minds and embrace differences.
Public, private, charter and parochial schools – even home schools – from districts across southeast Michigan send students to Giant Step. Black, White, Asian, Arabic and Hispanic students enter as strangers and leave as friends. Our trained facilitators and 30 years of working with teens help us bridge the gaps between students to promote inclusion, harmony and acceptance.
